Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Thrissur.

The Student

Counselor will guide students through academic and career options, conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, and support them in identifying strengths, interests, and suitable study or career paths. Daily responsibilities include responding to student inquiries, explaining programs and opportunities, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating with educational institutions or training providers as needed. The role involves organizing information sessions,



workshops, and orientation programs, while ensuring a welcoming, professional environment for students and families.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in making informed educational and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Education systems and pathways to advise on courses, institutions, and career routes.
- Relevant academic background in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or counseling is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate empathy, and work collaboratively in a diverse setting.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation tools.
