We are looking for a qualified and experienced Academic Counsellor with a strong background in student counselling and educational admissions. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of direct student counselling experience in an educational institution.

The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, recommending suitable courses, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, eligibility criteria, course duration, fees, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable courses.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, online platforms, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with prospective students and guide them towards making informed admission decisions.
- Explain course details, fee structures, instalment options, and available learning modes.
- Address students' and parents' queries professionally and maintain effective communication.
- Manage student enquiries, counselling records, follow-ups, and admission details using CRM or other management systems.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective students to improve admission conversions.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of daily counselling activities, student enquiries, and admission progress.





Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of direct student counselling experience in an educational institution is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a college, training institute, educational academy, coaching centre, or skill development institute.
- Practical experience in course counselling, admission enquiries, and student follow-ups.
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and CRM software.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries, follow up consistently, and achieve admission targets.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience counselling students for skilled, vocational, diploma, or career-oriented courses.
- Familiarity with online and offline admission procedures.
- Experience using student management software or CRM systems.

Important Eligibility Criteria A minimum of one year of actual student counselling experience is compulsory. Candidates with experience exclusively in general telecalling, customer support, retail sales, or unrelated sales roles will not be considered eligible. Applicants must have hands-on experience counselling students about educational courses and admissions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
