About the Role

Vastu Vihar (Technoculture Building Centre Pvt. Ltd.) is looking for a Structural Engineer to analyse, design, and detail structural systems for residential and commercial building projects. You will work with the architecture, MEP, and site teams to deliver safe, economical, code-compliant structural designs and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out structural analysis and design of RCC buildings (low-rise to mid-rise) for gravity, wind, and seismic loads.
- Model and analyse structures in ETABS and STAAD Pro V8i, and interpret the results.
- Design foundations (isolated, combined, strip, raft, and pile where applicable) using SAFE and prepare the foundation design reports from CSI SAFE results.
- Design and detail beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, and staircases, using RCDC for reinforcement detailing and drawing generation.
- Prepare structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculation reports.
- Review architectural drawings and coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and site engineers to resolve structural conflicts early.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS 456, IS 1893, IS 875, IS 13920, IS 800, SP 34, etc.).




- Estimate quantities of concrete and steel and support value engineering to optimise material use.
- Provide technical support to the site team, respond to RFIs, and inspect structural work when required.
- Review and verify drawings and calculations prepared by junior engineers or draftsmen.
- Maintain organised project documentation and revision records.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in structural design of buildings

Technical Skills

Area Requirement

- Analysis & design ETABS, STAAD Pro V8i (hands-on, project-level experience)
- Foundation design SAFE, with the ability to read and present CSI SAFE results
- Detailing RCDC for beams, columns, slabs, and footings
- Drafting Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and checking drawings
- Codes Strong command of IS 456, IS 1893, IS 875, IS 13920
- Office tools MS Excel and Word for calculations and reports
