We work on a diverse range of UK projects with a strong focus on efficient structural systems, timber and hybrid construction, computational design, and low-carbon engineering.

We are looking for an experienced Structural Revit Modeller / Draughtsperson based in India to join our growing team remotely.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in Revit and structural drafting, but who also wants to push beyond conventional modelling into parametric workflows, computational design, automation, and AI-assisted engineering .

The Role

Working directly alongside our UK-based structural engineers, you will develop structural models, drawings, and coordination details across residential, commercial, and bespoke schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce and develop accurate structural models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare high-quality structural drawing packages (GA plans, sections, elevations, and connection details).
- Model structural framing across steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Interpret structural engineering calculations, sketches, and design mark-ups into coordinated 3D models and drawing sets.
- Coordinate structural BIM models with architectural and MEP packages.
- Review drawing packages and mark-ups to UK construction standards.
- Maintain model health, drawing standards, naming conventions, and layer consistency.

Computational Design & AI Development A major aspect of this role is the opportunity to develop beyond day-to-day drafting. We are actively exploring modern workflows to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. You will have the opportunity to get involved in:

- Parametric and generative modelling (Rhino + Grasshopper).




- Revit automation via Dynamo or Python.
- Integrating AI-assisted design and engineering tools into everyday workflows.
- Developing internal scripts to streamline drawing production and model QA/QC.

(You do not need to be an expert programmer or AI developer. However, we are looking for someone who is curious about technology and keen to find better and more efficient ways of working.)

Candidate Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills:

- 2+ years of structural modelling and draughting experience.
- Solid working proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure .
- Solid understanding of structural systems (steel, RC, timber, and masonry) and how buildings go together.
- Proven track record of producing accurate construction documentation and GA drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote work setup.

Beneficial / Desirable (Helpful, but not mandatory):

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu for drawing production, review workflows, and mark-ups.
- Exposure to Rhino and Grasshopper .
- Experience using Dynamo for Revit task automation.
- Basic coding knowledge in Python, C#, or similar.
- Familiarity with UK structural engineering drawing standards and conventions .
- Experience with Revit family creation and template setup.

Working Hours & Compensation

- Hours: Primarily aligned with UK business hours to facilitate smooth design team coordination, with reasonable flexibility agreed upon.
- Salary: Competitive, based on demonstrated technical capability and experience.
