Resposibilities

- Employ cost competitive engineering techniques to develop the most cost-effective total project solution

- Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution

- Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting

- Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures

- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines

- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines

Requirements:

- Advanced knowledge of discipline codes for US and European regions, commercial availability, and cost of materials





- Advanced knowledge of performing hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures

- Analyzing complex structures

- Wind and seismic loading in structural calculations

- Computer modeling and analysis

- Procurement and construction aspects of engineering

- Vendor drawing review, intergroup review squad checking

- Checking design calculations and Drawings

- Connections designs and fabricator drawing checking

- Practical field experience and Intermediate computer and software skills

- Knowledge of working in Prefeed, FEED & Detail Engineering projects

- Managing and leading a small team/ Area lead on a bigger project

- Knowledge of Energetic analysis and design (structural) will be an added advantage
