Role & responsibilities
Identify recent suppliers; negotiate prices and contracts;
develop new parts and obtain PPAP approval;
monitor supplier contracts and annual negotiations;
analyse supplier risks and implement mitigation plans;
map supplier capacity;
report savings and commodity inflation;
achieve material cost-saving targets;
improve supplier OTD;
identify suppliers for new projects;
submit non-standard offers to Sales;
achieve company profitability targets.
