Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily STP operations and ensure smooth plant performance as per design capacity.
- Monitor plant parameters, including pH, MLSS, DO, TSS and treated-water quality.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, diffusers, agitators, filter units and other electromechanical equipment.
- Monitor aeration, sludge recirculation, sludge withdrawal and sludge disposal activities.
- Supervise STP operators and allocate daily duties, shifts and responsibilities.
- Ensure treated water meets the required quality standards for reuse or disposal.
- Maintain daily operation logs, equipment checklists, chemical consumption records and water-quality reports.

Preventive Maintenance Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all STP equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of pumps, motors, blowers, diffusers, valves, pipelines, electrical panels and instrumentation.
- Check equipment operating conditions, abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, overheating and other potential faults.
- Ensure timely lubrication, cleaning, tightening and servicing of equipment as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Monitor preventive maintenance activities and ensure completion within the scheduled time.
- Maintain equipment history records, maintenance checklists, breakdown reports and service records.




- Identify potential equipment failures and take corrective action to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and service providers for repairs, servicing and spare-parts requirements.
- Ensure standby equipment is maintained in good working condition and ready for operation.

Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor chemical dosing, filter backwashing and sludge management activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace safety and PPE compliance.
- Prepare daily and monthly plant performance reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with the client regarding plant performance, maintenance requirements and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and site safety procedures.
- Train operators and ensure adherence to STP operating procedures and maintenance schedules.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of STP processes such as SBR, MBBR, MBR and activated sludge systems.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of pumps, motors, blowers and electrical panels.
- Ability to prepare maintenance schedules and maintain equipment records.
- Good team management, communication and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
