Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory &
- Stock Management

- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming fire extinguishers (DCP, CO2, Foam, Water) and hydrant components (valves, hoses, nozzles, couplings, branch pipes, hydrant keys) against purchase orders. [1, 2, 3]

1. Quality &
- Safety Inspection

- Check pressure gauges, safety pins, seals, cylinder bodies, and valve assemblies on fire extinguishers for dents, rust, or leaks.

- Verify that hydrant equipment complies with relevant standards (such as BIS / IS codes for fire protection gear in India).

1. Issue &
- Dispatch Coordination

- Issue fire safety gear and replacement parts only against authorized requisition slips or project indents.

- Pack and dispatch outgoing hydrant parts and extinguishers safely to installation sites or clients, ensuring proper documentation (Delivery Challans, Waybills).

- Coordinate with the procurement team to reorder stock before quantities fall below fixed minimum safety levels.

1. Housekeeping &
- Godown Maintenance

- Keep racks, pallets,



and floor areas clean, dry, and free from moisture (which can corrode metal cylinders and valves).

- Stack heavy items (such as cast-iron hydrant valves or large CO2 cylinders) safely at the bottom and lighter items on upper shelves.

- Maintain explicit aisles for material handling equipment and emergency access.

- Maintain digital inventory logs or stock registers (Goods Receipt Notes/GRNs, issue slips, and stock ledgers).

- Implement the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) methods, paying strict attention to manufacturing dates, hydrostatic test dates, and expiry dates of fire extinguisher charges/powder.

- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile them with system balances to prevent pilferage or discrepancies.

Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
