Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Steel Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter role based in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for steel and tensile structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design and engineering standards. Daily tasks include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, developing 2D/3D models, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and updating drawings based on design changes or site feedback.

The Steel

Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter will review dimensions, connections, and material specifications,



and support the preparation of layout plans, assembly drawings, and erection drawings. The role also requires maintaining drawing documentation, adhering to project timelines, and contributing to quality control in the detailing process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Steel Detailing and Steel Structures for fabrication and erection drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Shop Drawings and Architectural Drawings to interpret and translate design intent into detailed plans.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Rebar detailing for coordination with structural reinforcement requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D detailing.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience working with steel or tensile membrane structures, including knowledge of basic structural principles and connection detailing.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, designers, and project teams on-site.
