Qualification

- 10+2 with Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery or BSc, Post BSc, MSc
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Knowledge of the principles of Basic Nursing and technical Nursing
- Knowledge of human anatomy

Skills: Interpersonal, Listening, Manual Dexterity, Communication, Coordination and Cooperation, Initiatives, Procedural Systems, Patient Safety, Drug Administration, Moral Support and Physical Approach to patients, Computer Literate.
- Awareness of the departmental vision, mission, objectives and its implementation.
- Performs the duties as per the role and expectation of a nurse in providing comprehensive patient care.
- Knowledge about the layout of the unit, number of patients and types of patients and their requirements.
- Interaction, co-operation and team spirit with other staff members.
- Performs assigned duties as per the department s protocol.
- Maintains all registers used in the unit.
- Accurate knowledge of the forms and formats.
- Performs all special assignments as rostered.
