Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Tunnel Design Engineer with strong expertise in tunnel design and structural engineering. The candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and engineering of tunnel and underground infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable design standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform design and structural analysis of tunnels and underground structures.
- Develop and review tunnel design calculations, drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
- Work on tunnel design for road, railway, metro, or other infrastructure projects.
- Evaluate ground conditions and coordinate with geotechnical teams to establish appropriate tunnel design parameters.
- Apply suitable tunnel design methodologies based on project requirements and ground conditions.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.




- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers.
- Review design deliverables and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Support technical reviews, design modifications, and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Requirements

- B.Tech in Civil Engineering & M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in tunnel design.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and the design of tunnels or underground structures.
- Experience in infrastructure projects involving road, railway, metro, or similar tunnels.
- Ability to prepare and review technical design calculations, drawings, and reports.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of tunnel design methodologies, including NATM, where relevant.
- Familiarity with tunnel analysis and design software such as MIDAS GTS NX, PLAXIS, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of relevant Indian and international design codes and standards.
- Robust technical coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
