Title: Purchase Manager

Location: Nungambakkam Chennai

Time: 9am to 6pm

Experience: 3+years

Retail industry experience good to have.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Scope: All company purchases, including fabrics, trims, garment accessories, administrative and operational supplies.

- Source suppliers, compare quotations and negotiate prices and terms.
- Coordinate purchase requirements with departments and raise purchase orders.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
- Coordinate quality and quantity checks with receiving teams.
- Maintain purchase records and coordinate invoice reconciliation with Accounts.
- Track purchasing costs and supplier performance.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations is an advantage.

Experience:





- 3+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement / Vendor Management.
- Experience in retail, showroom, FMCG, textile, jewellery, manufacturing, or distribution will be preferred depending on the business.
