Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Closing & Reporting

Own month-end and year-end books closure. Conduct ledger scrutiny and ensure accuracy of accounting records.

Prepare and finalise financial statements.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and ITC. Handle TDS compliance, returns, and reconciliations.

Manage Income Tax compliance, including notices and assessments.

Ensure timely adherence to all applicable statutory requirements.

1. Audit Management

Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits. Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.

Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit queries.

Drive closure of audit observations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

1. Project & Capex Accounting

Track Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) and project-related expenditure. Monitor fund utilisation against approved projects.

Ensure timely identification and capitalisation of assets put to use.

Maintain accurate records of capital expenditure and fixed assets.

1. Treasury & Banking

Oversee daily bank reconciliations and fund positioning. Monitor cash flows and payment requirements.

Ensure appropriate payment controls and approval processes.

Coordinate with banking partners for day-to-day banking requirements.

1. Expense & Payment Controls

Review vendor payments and expense bookings for accuracy. Verify contracts, supporting documents, and approval adherence.





Ensure expenses comply with company policies and internal controls.

Identify opportunities for improved cost and process discipline.

1. MIS & Variance Analysis

Prepare monthly MIS and management reports. Prepare budget vs. actual analysis.

Identify and explain key financial variances.

Provide actionable financial insights to executive management.

1. Internal Controls & Team Mentorship

Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes. Develop and improve finance-related SOPs.

Identify process gaps and implement corrective measures.

Guide, mentor, and review the work of junior accounting team members.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Qualification

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter.

Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.

Growth Mindset

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
