We MSI Communications, Calicut looking for Sr.Finanace Manager with CA qualified.

1. Job Purpose

To lead and manage the finance and accounting functions of MSI Communications, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, financial planning, and strong internal controls. The role will support business growth through financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
1. Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans. Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify variances. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. B. Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts. Review profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports. Maintain appropriate accounting policies and procedures.

C. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor cash flow, liquidity, receivables, and payables. Ensure timely collection of customer payments and effective credit control. Manage banking relationships, fund requirements, and payment schedules. Optimize working capital and ensure the availability of funds for business operations.

D. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities. Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of statutory dues. Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and regulatory requirements.

Internal Controls & Risk Management Establish and strengthen financial controls and approval mechanisms. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Monitor expenses, prevent financial irregularities, and ensure adherence to company policies. Review financial processes and recommend improvements.

F. Business Finance & Commercial Support Evaluate the financial viability of projects, contracts, and business proposals. Review pricing, profitability, project costs, and margins. Support contract negotiations and commercial decision-making. Provide financial analysis for new business opportunities and investments.

G. Team Management & Leadership Lead, guide, and develop the Finance & Accounts team. Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance. Establish standard operating procedures and improve process efficiency. Coordinate with HR, Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other departments.

H. Management Reporting Present financial performance, key risks, and business insights to senior management. Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators. Provide recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and financial sustainability.

1. Educational Qualifications CA / CMA / MBA in Finance / M.Com or an equivalent qualification. A qualified finance qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts. At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in financial planning, taxation, budgeting, auditing, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Experience in the communications, media, advertising, telecom, or service industry will be an advantage.
3. Required Skills & Competencies Strong financial analysis and decision-making skills. Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and applicable tax regulations. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. Budget adherence and reduction in unnecessary expenditure. Improvement in receivables collection and working capital. Timely statutory filings and tax payments. Audit compliance and reduction in audit observations. Improvement in operating profitability and project margins. Efficiency of finance operations and team performance.
5. Working Relationships Internal: Managing Director, Group CFO, HR, Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other business heads.

External: Banks, auditors, tax consultants, statutory authorities, vendors, customers, and other financial stakeholders.
1. General Responsibilities Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management in line with the position and business requirements.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
