We are looking for an experienced SQL Server and Azure SQL Database Administrator to support enterprise database environments. The candidate should have strong experience in database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, security, patching, and production support.

Primary Skills

- Administration of SQL Server 2016/2017/2019/2022

- Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance

- Installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching

- Backup, restore, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities

- SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication

- Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, query tuning, indexing, blocking, and deadlock analysis

- Database security, access management, auditing, and vulnerability remediation

- Capacity planning, database maintenance, and health checks

- Incident, problem,



and change-management processes

- PowerShell or T-SQL scripting and automation

- Experience supporting production databases in a 247 workplace

Additional Advantage

- Administration or support experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL

- Experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL or Azure Database for MySQL

- Knowledge of database migration and modernization to Azure

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITIL processes

Candidate Requirements

- 45 years of relevant DBA experience

- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

- Willingness to work rotational shifts and provide on-call support

- Candidates based in, or willing to work from Office, Hyderabad
