Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop battery busbars using Siemens NX CAD.
- Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings of battery components.
- Manage component release and documentation using Teamcenter (PLM).
- Resolve DFM, DFA and DFS issues related to manufacturing, assembly and serviceability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Packaging, Harness, BMS and R&D.;
- Ensure proper battery cell connections, component fitment and clearances.
- Apply sheet metal design, welding and manufacturing process knowledge.
