About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for our fintech platforms spanning merchant payments, digital gift vouchers, and digital commodities trading.

The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), database architecture, API integrations, and scalable system design. You will drive architectural decisions, improve platform reliability, and work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple fintech platforms.
- Design and review Java/Spring Boot applications, microservices, REST APIs, and database schemas.
- Architect and optimize GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Managed Instance Groups (MIG), VPC, and Internal Load Balancing (ILB).
- Lead integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, UPI, payouts, autopay, and third-party fintech providers.
- Define database architecture, data models, query optimization, caching, and data flow strategies.
- Ensure platform security, scalability, high availability, and compliance.
- Create architecture documents, system diagrams, API contracts, and technical specifications.
- Review technical designs, guide engineering teams, and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, CI/CD automation,



deployment improvements, and observability initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, system design, or solution architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot , including WAR-based deployments.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including Compute Engine, MIG, VPC, ILB, GCS, or Cloud Armor.
- Strong database expertise in MySQL/MariaDB, data modeling, query optimization, and connection pooling.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of application security, high availability, scalability, and compliance.
- Familiarity with React, Vite, Next.js, and PM2 deployment workflows.
- Excellent technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently own architectural decisions from design through production implementation.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial technology platforms.
- Exposure to payment gateway integrations, UPI, transaction reconciliation, webhooks, and financial data flows.
- Experience with MariaDB Galera clusters and cloud infrastructure modernization.
