Role Description The Solar PV Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising solar photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Day-to-day tasks include site assessments, load calculations, system sizing, preparation of technical drawings, and coordination with project managers, vendors, and installation teams. The role involves monitoring project execution on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and quality requirements, and troubleshooting technical issues during installation and commissioning.

The engineer will prepare documentation such as bills of materials, technical reports, and as-built drawings,



as well as support performance testing and optimization of installed systems. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, components, and layouts, including DC and AC configurations, inverters, panels, mounting structures, and cabling.
- Ability to conduct site surveys, shading analysis, and load calculations using relevant tools and software (e.g., PV design software, AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Understanding of electrical standards, safety codes, and local regulations related to solar installations and grid connectivity.
- Experience overseeing on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of solar PV systems, with a focus on timely and safe execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for addressing technical issues in design and field conditions.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in solar PV projects; exposure to rooftop and ground-mounted systems is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning in renewable energy technologies.
