Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SmartCOMM / Thunderhead Developer with hands-on expertise in Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining customer communication templates and document-generation solutions for banking, financial services, or insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain customer communication templates using SmartCOMM / Thunderhead.
- Develop personalized customer documents, including account statements, loan letters, policy documents, customer notices, and regulatory communications.
- Work on template design, data mapping, conditional logic, reusable content, and document formatting.
- Process and validate structured input data using XML, JSON, XPath, or related technologies, as required by the project.
- Integrate communication solutions with upstream and downstream applications.
- Troubleshoot template issues, document-generation failures, and production defects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and application developers.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure document accuracy, data confidentiality,



and compliance with BFSI communication standards.

Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on development experience in SmartCOMM / Thunderhead.
- Strong knowledge of Customer Communications Management (CCM).
- Experience in template development, document composition, data mapping, and conditional content.
- Knowledge of XML, XPath, and JSON, depending on project requirements.
- Experience with document generation, formatting, and output validation.
- Positive problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance projects.
- Knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise application integration.
- Experience with Java or JavaScript, where required.
- Familiarity with version control, deployment processes, and production support.
- Understanding of data privacy, audit requirements, and regulatory customer communications.

Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Candidate Screening Criteria

Candidates should have direct hands-on experience in SmartCOMM / Thunderhead development. Experience only in generic Java development, document generation, or other CCM tools is not sufficient unless the candidate also has the required SmartCOMM experience.
