Junior Software Engineers with AI-first, agentic coding expertisedesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain modern software applications while leveraging advanced Generative AI and agentic development tools to accelerate engineering outcomes. This role requires foundational software engineering skills combined with hands-on experience or strong familiarity using AI-assisted coding platforms and large language models such asClaude, OpenAI models, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and other emerging AI development agents.

Junior Software Engineers are responsible for supporting software analysis, design, programming, debugging, optimization, and modification of applications across commercial, enterprise, and end-user environments. They write quality code, develop automated tests, support CI/CD pipelines, integrate systems, and assist with production application support under guidance from senior team members.

In addition to traditional engineering responsibilities, this role emphasizes the effective use ofAI coding assistants, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, automated code generation, AI-assisted debugging, test creation, documentation generation, and developer productivity automation. Engineers are expected to use AI tools responsibly, securely, and effectively while maintaining strong human oversight, code quality, compliance, and engineering standards.

All roles requiredigital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such asGenerative AI, large language models, AI agents, automation tools, and cloud-native engineering platformsto support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

- Write, develop, modify, and review quality, testable, and maintainable codeacross front-end, back-end, API, integration, and data layers under guidance from senior engineers.
- Apply anAI-first engineering approachby using contemporary AI coding assistants and agentic development tools such asClaude, OpenAI models, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar platformsto improve development speed, code quality, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Useagentic coding workflowsto assist with code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, debugging, technical documentation, code reviews, and analysis of systems.
- Write effective prompts and provide clear engineering context to AI tools in order to generate reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Validate, review, and refine AI-generated code to ensure correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and alignment with team coding standards.
- Support integration of applications and systems throughREST APIs, GraphQL, messaging queues, event-driven architectures, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Assist in developing and maintainingdata pipelines, batch jobs,



and data processing solutionsusing appropriate frameworks and cloud services.
- Create and maintainunit, integration, and end-to-end tests, using automation and AI-assisted test generation where appropriate.
- Support and contribute toCI/CD pipelinesto automate build, test, security scanning, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Package and deploy applications across multiple environments usingcontainers, orchestration platforms, and cloud-native deployment tools.
- Debug issues using logs, metrics, traces, observability platforms, andAI-assisted root cause analysis toolswith support from senior team members.
- Monitor application performance and assist in identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and support quality gates usingstatic analysis, automated testing, security scanning, and AI-assisted review tools.
- Learn and applysecure coding practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and secure API design.
- Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI tools, including protection of confidential data, intellectual property, regulated information, and customer-sensitive content.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational support materials, using AI tools where appropriate to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, business stakeholders, senior engineers, and end users to understand requirements and contribute to software solutions.
- Support estimation of development effort, contribute to project plans, and assist with delivery timelines and release schedules.
- Actively learn and stay current with emerging technologies, includingGenerative AI, agentic software development, cloud engineering, automation, DevSecOps, and modern application architecture.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other related filed or with an Advanced degree
- 6 months - 2 years of experiencein software development, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (bootcamps, certifications, self-taught with demonstrable projects).
- Foundational programming skills in one or more languages such asJava, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar languages.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience usingAI coding assistants and large language modelsfor software development, including tools such as:
- Claude
- OpenAI models (ChatGPT, GPT-4, etc.)
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor
- CodeWhisperer or similar AI coding tools

- Basic understanding ofprompt engineering for software development, including creating prompts for code generation, debugging, refactoring, test creation, and documentation.
- Familiarity withagentic coding patterns,



including task decomposition, iterative prompting, AI-assisted planning, and autonomous development workflows with human review.
- Exposure to modern frameworks such asReact, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of databases such asPostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or cloud-native data services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such asAWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tools such asGitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals includingversion control (Git), automated testing, debugging, API design, and secure development practices.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs foraccuracy, security, and production readinesswith guidance from senior engineers.
- Personal projects, internships, or academic work demonstrating use of AI tools for coding and development.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of GitHub repositories showcasing coding skills.
- Experience withagentic development frameworks or AI workflow automation tools.
- Familiarity withmicroservices architecture, event-driven systems, or distributed computing concepts.
- Experience with data engineering tools such asSnowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud data services.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such asDatadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies such asScrum or Kanban.
