Job Overview

Blue Spire is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Event Management / ITOM Specialist with strong hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow Event Management solutions. The candidate should have experience integrating enterprise monitoring tools with ServiceNow, configuring event processing and correlation, reducing event noise, and automating incident creation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, implement, and support ServiceNow Event Management and ITOM solutions.
- Configure and manage event ingestion, event processing, alert generation, correlation, aggregation, and deduplication .
- Integrate ServiceNow Event Management with enterprise monitoring tools and external systems.
- Configure Event Management Rules / Event Rules , event transformations, severity mapping, and alert-to-incident automation.
- Implement event correlation and noise reduction to minimize duplicate and unnecessary alerts.
- Configure and troubleshoot Event Management Connectors and integrations.
- Work with MID Servers for integrations and communication with external monitoring systems.
- Integrate Event Management with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping for CI identification and service impact analysis.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub .
- Use JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer , and other ServiceNow capabilities for customization and automation.
- Troubleshoot event ingestion, alert generation, integration,



and incident-creation issues in production.
- Work closely with monitoring, infrastructure, application, and ITSM teams to improve event monitoring and operational efficiency.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.

Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of ServiceNow experience with strong hands-on ITOM / Event Management experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Event Management implementation and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Events, Alerts, Incidents, Event Rules, Event Correlation, Deduplication, and Alert Aggregation .
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios or similar platforms.
- Experience with Event Management Connectors and event ingestion.
- Hands-on experience with MID Server .
- Good understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping .
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub .
- ServiceNow scripting knowledge using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes , etc.
- Experience with production troubleshooting and event noise reduction .
- Robust understanding of ITSM processes, particularly Incident Management .

Good to Have
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM .
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping .
- Experience with IntegrationHub and Flow Designer .
- Experience with AIOps / intelligent event correlation.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and AWS/Azure environments.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and operational dashboards.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
