About FX Retina FX Retina is a digital marketing agency looking for a creative and confident Social Media Manager in Lucknow who understands Instagram content strategy, storytelling, trending content, scriptwriting, and audience engagement.

We are looking for someone who can develop engaging social media content, write attention-grabbing hooks and video scripts, identify relevant trends, and create content that helps brands grow their reach, engagement, and audience.

The ideal candidate should have solid communication skills, a good understanding of social media success metrics, and the confidence to appear on camera and create presentable, engaging videos.

This is a strictly work-from-office position. Remote, hybrid, freelance, and part-time applications will not be considered. Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute social media strategies for multiple client accounts, primarily on Instagram.
- Research Instagram trends, trending audio, reels formats, and content opportunities relevant to different industries.
- Develop engaging content ideas based on brand goals, target audiences, and current trends.
- Write compelling video scripts, opening hooks, captions, and calls to action.
- Understand storytelling techniques to create engaging Reels and short-form video content.
- Confidently appear on camera and record engaging, presentable videos for brand accounts.




- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and other team members to execute content plans.
- Prepare monthly content calendars and ensure consistent posting.
- Track social media performance using metrics such as reach, views, watch time, engagement rate, shares, saves, profile visits, follower growth, and leads.
- Analyse content performance and use insights to improve future content strategies.
- Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve content quality, engagement, and organic growth.
- Maintain brand consistency in communication, tone, and visual presentation.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in Social Media Management, Social Media Marketing, or Content Creation.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Instagram Reels, Stories, and current social media trends.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good storytelling, scriptwriting, and creative thinking abilities.
- Ability to write engaging hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Confidence in front of the camera and willingness to record videos regularly.
- Presentable, expressive, and comfortable communicating ideas on camera.
- Understanding of social media growth strategies and content performance metrics.
- Ability to create content ideas for different industries and target audiences.
- Strong research,



planning, organisation, and execution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet content deadlines.
- Basic understanding of Canva or other content creation tools is an advantage.
- Must be comfortable working full-time from our Lucknow office.
