About the Role

RebelCorp is looking for a creative and execution-focused Social Media Executive who can independently manage day-to-day social media activities, create engaging content, and use modern AI tools to produce high-quality images and videos.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across content planning, designing, video editing, AI-generated creatives, posting, and basic social media performance tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day social media posting across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube .

- Create and maintain a monthly and weekly social media content calendar .

- Plan content around product updates, campaigns, events, trends, educational content, reels, carousels, and brand communication.
- Write simple and engaging captions, post copy, reel scripts, hooks, and CTAs .

- Design social media creatives using Canva Pro .

- Create professional images and creative concepts using AI image-generation tools .

- Use AI tools to generate or enhance visuals for campaigns, social posts, product promotions, and marketing communication.
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and promotional campaigns .

- Create videos using AI video-generation tools when required.
- Add subtitles, transitions, music, graphics, animations, and branding to videos.
- Repurpose existing videos, webinars, demos, and long-form content into multiple short-form social media pieces.
- Schedule and publish posts according to the approved content calendar.
- Ensure consistency in RebelCorp's brand colours, fonts, visual style, messaging, and tone of voice .

- Coordinate with the marketing, design, sales, and product teams to collect information for upcoming content.
- Research competitors, trending formats, AI tools, content ideas, and social media trends.
- Suggest new creative concepts for reels, carousels, campaigns,



and engagement-focused content.
- Track basic social media metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, followers, video views, clicks, and content performance .

- Prepare a simple monthly performance summary highlighting the best-performing content and areas for improvement.

Required Skills

- Positive understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube .

- Strong working knowledge of Canva Pro .

- Basic to intermediate video editing skills .

- Experience with tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva Video , or similar platforms.

- Hands-on experience with AI image-generation tools .

- Basic understanding of AI video-generation tools .

- Ability to create visually appealing posts, reels, carousels, and short-form videos.
- Good written English and ability to create explicit social media copy.
- Understanding of social media trends, hooks, formats, and engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage a content calendar and meet posting deadlines.
- Comfortable experimenting with new AI and creative tools.

Preferred Skills Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Kling, Veo, Canva AI, CapCut AI

, or similar AI creative tools will be an advantage.

Experience handling social media for a technology, SaaS, AI, digital marketing, or startup brand will also be preferred.
