Pragati Engineering Works (PEW), based in Turbhe MIDC, Navi Mumbai, is an MEP contracting firm serving leading data center and telecom clients. We handle Operations & Maintenance support and expansion projects across Civil, Electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, Fire Safety and ELV works at data center sites in Mumbai (Malad, Chandivali, Navi Mumbai), Pune (Hinjawadi, Kharadi), Gujarat (Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat), Nagpur and Kolhapur.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Site Supervisor (Electrical / MEP) to execute work orders at our data center sites. The candidate will be based in Mumbai and travel to client sites across Maharashtra and Gujarat as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute work orders / purchase orders received by the company end-to-end as per scope, drawings, BOQ and client specifications.
- Supervise electrical and MEP works – LT panels, cabling, cable trays, earthing, lighting, DB/ACDB installation, HVAC and fire safety support works.
- Plan daily work, deploy manpower, and coordinate material and tools at site.
- Coordinate with client engineers, facility teams and the PEW project office; obtain work permits and approvals.
- Ensure strict compliance with site safety norms – PTW, LOTO, PPE, working at height, electrical isolation and toolbox talks.
- Maintain quality of workmanship and support testing, inspection and handover.
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurement sheets,



material reconciliation and site photographs in English.
- Work within live, critical data center environments following client SOPs and MOPs.

Requirements

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of site supervision experience in electrical / MEP contracting; data center, telecom or commercial building experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, LT installations, testing and relevant IS standards.
- Sound knowledge of personnel safety practices at construction and operational sites.
- Good reading and writing skills in English (reports, emails, checklists); working knowledge of Hindi/Marathi.
- Must have permanent residence in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane (living with family or as a bachelor).
- Willing to travel to sites across Maharashtra (Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur) and Gujarat (Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat).
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and smartphone/WhatsApp-based reporting.

Salary & Perks

- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience).
- Conveyance allowance paid separately.
- Overtime pay as applicable.
- Diwali bonus on completion of one year of service.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
