Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily production operations as per production plan and schedule.

- Handle batch manufacturing, filling, packing, and shop-floor activities.

- Manage manpower allocation, shift supervision, and resource utilization.

- Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production equipment.

- Coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering for machine breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

- Coordinate with QA/QC, Warehouse, and other departments for smooth production operations.

- Monitor production targets, output, productivity, downtime, wastage, and rejection.

- Maintain batch records, production reports, checklists, and other manufacturing documentation.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety, hygiene,



housekeeping, and quality standards.

- Support internal and external audits and ensure documentation readiness.

- Conduct shift handovers and communicate production status, pending activities, breakdowns, and quality issues.

- Review previous shift handovers and follow up on pending activities.

- Report production progress, deviations, and operational issues to the reporting authority.

- Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, process performance, manpower utilization, and wastage reduction.
