Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of all hospital engineering systems, including:

HVAC

Medical gas systems

Electrical distribution

Fire protection systems

Plumbing and water treatment

Boilers and generators

Lead the shift team to ensure uninterrupted functioning of all critical hospital infrastructure and services.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and service requests.

Coordinate with internal departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to hospital services.

Maintain proper documentation and logbooks related to daily operations, equipment maintenance, and incident reports.





Ensure all engineering operations comply with hospital safety protocols, NABH/JCI standards, and statutory regulations.

Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption to optimize efficiency.

Assist in vendor coordination and supervision of AMC services and third-party contractors.

Provide technical support during new equipment installation, commissioning, or facility upgrades.

Train and mentor junior staff in protected work practices and standard operating procedures.
