What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands that positive signage is not just about how it looks, but how easily people can understand and navigate a space.

The candidate should be able to combine graphic design, spatial thinking, wayfinding strategy and technical understanding to create signage systems that are clear, intuitive and practical to execute.

Key Responsibilities

Signage & Wayfinding Design

- Develop signage and wayfinding systems for large-scale projects.
- Create signage concepts, design languages and visual systems.
- Develop directional, identification, informational, regulatory and statutory signage.
- Develop wayfinding strategies based on user movement, circulation and spatial hierarchy.
- Work with typography, icons, colour coding, symbols and visual hierarchy.
- Ensure consistency of signage across different buildings, floors and zones.
- Develop signage schedules and signage location plans.

Design Development & Documentation
- Prepare signage layouts, elevations, details and artwork.
- Develop signage drawings and production-ready files.
- Work with architects, interior designers and project consultants to integrate signage into the built environment.
- Understand dimensions, mounting conditions, viewing distances and accessibility requirements.
- Prepare presentations, material boards and design documentation for client approvals.

Materials & Execution
- Develop an understanding of signage materials, finishes and fabrication techniques.
- Work with materials such as acrylic, metal, aluminium, vinyl, glass, wood, LED and other signage systems.




- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for samples, prototypes and production.
- Review shop drawings and ensure they follow the approved design intent.
- Participate in site visits and coordinate with execution teams.
- Identify and resolve design issues during fabrication and installation.

Project Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants and vendors.
- Manage multiple design deliverables and project timelines.
- Incorporate client and consultant feedback efficiently.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across large signage packages.
- Support senior designers/project leads through the complete project lifecycle.

Software Skills

Strong working knowledge of

- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- AutoCAD
- PowerPoint

Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software, Figma or other visualisation tools will be an advantage. Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong graphic and visual design skills
- Good understanding of signage and wayfinding principles
- Excellent understanding of typography and information hierarchy
- Ability to organise complex information into simple visual systems
- Positive spatial understanding
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of materials, fabrication and installation
- Ability to read architectural/interior drawings
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects
- Problem-solving and practical approach to design

Qualification

Degree/Diploma in

- Graphic Design
- Communication Design
- Interior Design
- Architecture
- Environmental Graphic Design
- or a related design discipline.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
