Position: Shift Incharge – Mechanical Maintenance

Experience: 5–10 Years

Location: Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat

Qualification: BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Glass / Ceramic / Process / Building Material / Steel / Sheet Metal Industry

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure smooth and reliable operation of plant machinery and equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and coordinate timely troubleshooting and restoration.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, blowers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and other rotating equipment.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools and maintenance resources.
- Maintain shift-wise maintenance records, breakdown reports and equipment history.




- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, work permits and company maintenance standards.
- Guide technicians and maintenance team members and monitor their performance.
- Support shutdown and major maintenance activities.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate with the stores/maintenance planning team.

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Good knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings and mechanical systems.
- Ability to handle maintenance activities independently during shifts.
- Good team-handling and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
