Salary Budget: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Service Technician – OWC Machine to handle the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Organic Waste Converter (OWC) machines. The ideal candidate should have basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the willingness to travel to customer sites for service calls and breakdown support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, service, and maintain OWC machines at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve machine breakdown complaints within the required timelines.
- Identify and rectify issues related to motors, gearboxes, blowers, conveyors, sensors, PLC/HMI systems, and electrical panels.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and machine performance checks.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and machine operators on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit service reports after site visits, including details of issues identified and corrective actions taken.
- Coordinate with the service and technical teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain service records and follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of complaints.
- Travel to customer sites as required for installation, servicing, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of electrical panels,



motors, contactors, relays, sensors, and wiring.
- Working knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, and conveyors.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Basic understanding of PLC/HMI systems and machine controls will be an advantage.
- Valuable troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer-handling, communication, and customer-convincing skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for service calls and breakdown support.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the technical team.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
- Industrial machinery and equipment
- Food-processing machinery
- Waste-management equipment
- Conveyor systems and material-handling equipment
- Other mechanical or electromechanical machinery.
