We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team and contribute to our organic growth initiatives.

Job Overview

As an SEO Intern, you will work on real-world SEO and digital marketing projects, gaining hands-on experience across on-page SEO, off-page SEO, content optimization, keyword research, link building, analytics, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of SEO, strong research skills, good communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and experiment with emerging search trends.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO & Content Optimization

- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website content for search engines.
- Create SEO-friendly meta titles, meta descriptions, and heading structures.
- Assist with on-page SEO implementation.
- Optimize content for AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Conduct website audits and identify SEO opportunities.
- Build and manage internal linking strategies.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare SEO performance reports.
- Research industry trends and recommend SEO strategies.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building
- Identify high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis.
- Research niche-relevant websites for link acquisition.




- Perform outreach to bloggers, publishers, websites, and industry portals.
- Build high-quality backlinks through guest posting and content collaborations.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles.
- Assist with directory submissions, business listings, and citation building.
- Support digital PR and brand mention campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks, and other SEO metrics.
- Assist in preparing regular SEO reports and performance insights.

Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO and search engine ranking factors.
- Familiarity with backlink building and off-page SEO concepts.
- Good communication and outreach skills.
- Knowledge of Google Search, Excel, and internet research.
- Ability to identify relevant and quality websites for link-building opportunities.
- Robust attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest, or Similarweb.
- Understanding of Domain Authority (DA), Domain Rating (DR), and backlink metrics.
- Knowledge of guest posting and outreach strategies.
- Basic content writing skills.
- Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-powered search.

Preferred Qualifications




- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- SEO or Digital Marketing certification is an advantage.
- Previous internship, freelance, or project experience in SEO is preferred but not mandatory.
