Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, search visibility, and user engagement.

- Plan quarterly SEO activities aligned with editorial priorities and business goals.

- Conduct keyword research and analyze search intent to guide content planning and optimization.

- Optimize SEO headlines, meta titles, meta descriptions, URLs, and content summaries.

- Collaborate with writers and editors to improve content quality, readability, accuracy, and search performance.

- Optimize content for Google News, Google Discover, and Google Top Stories.

- Monitor trending topics and coordinate with editorial teams to publish timely, search-optimized content.

- Update and optimize evergreen content to maintain accuracy, relevance, and search rankings.

- Monitor Google algorithm updates and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.

- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexing, internal linking, and website architecture.

- Optimize Core Web Vitals, structured data, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and redirects.





- Work closely with web developers to improve website performance and technical SEO health.

- Build high-quality backlinks through Digital PR, earned media, and editorial partnerships.

- Monitor and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.

- Ensure content follows Google's E-E-A-T and helpful-content principles.

- Develop and maintain SEO guidelines and editorial style standards.

- Train and mentor writers, editors, and junior SEO team members on SEO best practices.

- Present SEO performance reports and actionable insights to senior management.
