Job Summary

Chirab Technologies is seeking an experienced Transformer Electrical Design Engineer with a robust background in distribution or power transformer manufacturing. The candidate should have hands-on experience designing transformers rated 2.5 MVA and above and be capable of independently managing electrical design calculations and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently perform electrical design and calculations for distribution and power transformers.
- Design transformers with ratings of 2.5 MVA and above.
- Prepare and review transformer design calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Select appropriate electrical design parameters to meet performance, efficiency, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, testing, and quality teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges.
- Review test results and support troubleshooting of transformer performance issues.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IS, IEC, and other relevant standards, as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve transformer design efficiency, accuracy, material utilization, and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Experience





- Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution or power transformer manufacturing company.
- Strong hands-on experience in transformer electrical design.
- Proven experience designing transformers rated 2.5 MVA and above.
- Good understanding of transformer design calculations, electrical parameters, and technical specifications.
- Ability to independently handle design assignments and resolve technical issues.
- Experience coordinating with production and testing departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification Formal educational qualifications are not mandatory. Candidates with substantial practical experience and proven transformer design expertise are encouraged to apply.
