Job Overview

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with robust experience in the Life Insurance domain and hands-on expertise in the LifeAsia tool. The candidate will be responsible for testing core insurance applications, validating policy lifecycle processes, identifying defects, and ensuring the accuracy of business functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, system, and regression testing for Life Insurance applications.
- Use the LifeAsia tool to validate policy lifecycle processes.
- Test Day 1 processes, including new business, proposal entry, underwriting, and policy issuance.
- Test Day 2 processes, including policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, reinstatements, claims, surrenders, and withdrawals.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Identify, log, track,



and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and business teams to clarify requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.
- Ensure compliance with insurance business rules and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Life Insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with the LifeAsia core insurance system.
- Positive understanding of Day 1 and Day 2 insurance processes.
- Experience in manual testing, including functional and regression testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Quality Center (QC), or ALM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Automation testing experience will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹41,666.00 per month
