Role Description The Senior Technician is a full-time, in office role based in Patna. This role involves performing hands-on technical work on electricity distribution equipment and systems, including installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of MV/LV network components.

The Senior

Technician supports live working activities, implements safety procedures, and ensures compliance with technical standards and company guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing faults, conducting preventive maintenance,



documenting interventions, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to improve network reliability. The role also includes mentoring junior technicians, participating in technical training initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of field practices.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in electrical distribution systems, including MV/LV equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with network operations, fault diagnosis, and implementation of safety and live working procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and operational guidelines.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and field reporting systems.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Prior experience in utility, DSO, or industrial power distribution environments is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and safety standards applicable to electrical distribution networks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to mentor and guide junior technicians and contribute to technical training activities.
- Willingness to work in office in Patna and occasionally in varying field conditions, including during network incidents or crises.
