: Senior Liferay Developer – Customer MyLam

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on Liferay DXP 7.x or later.
- Design and build OSGi modules, portlets, themes, fragments, and client extensions.
- Develop contemporary user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement backend services using Java, Liferay MVC Framework, and Service Builder.
- Develop and integrate with REST APIs and enterprise systems.
- Configure and manage Liferay Objects, Workflows, Roles, and Permissions.
- Support application deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Work with Tomcat, Elasticsearch, and relational databases.
- Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
- Support Liferay upgrades, patches, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.




- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and support teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

Skill Requirements

Required Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Liferay DXP development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, OSGi, MVC Framework, and Service Builder.
- Experience with React-based front-end development.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Tomcat, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Other Requirements

Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting production environments, including:
- Incident management and service restoration.
- JIRA ticket analysis and resolution.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCCA).
- Performance tuning and application monitoring.

- Experience with application modernization and migration initiatives.

Exposure to cloud technologies and enterprise-scale applications
