Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Team Lead at Taxcart.

The Senior Team

Lead will oversee a cross-functional team, set priorities, and ensure delivery of high-quality features and enhancements to the Taxcart platform. Daily responsibilities include coordinating workloads, providing coaching and guidance, reviewing progress against goals, and removing blockers for team members. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and operations to align on requirements, improve processes, and ensure smooth implementation of tax-related functionalities.

The Senior Team

Lead will also monitor performance metrics,



support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to strategic planning for scaling the platform.

Qualifications

- Leadership and people management skills, including team coordination, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with project and process management, such as setting priorities, managing timelines, and implementing workflow improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Background in SaaS, fintech, or tax technology, especially in areas related to sales tax, VAT, or GST, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with remote work tools and practices, and ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead role overseeing small to mid-sized teams in a rapid-paced, growth-focused organization.
