Role Description The Senior Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing and executing land and construction surveying activities for various projects. This role includes conducting site surveys, taking accurate measurements, and preparing detailed survey reports, drawings, and maps.

The Senior

Surveyor will oversee the setup and use of surveying instruments, verify alignment and levels, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure design specifications are met. Daily responsibilities include checking boundary lines, monitoring site progress, updating survey data, and resolving measurement or layout discrepancies. The role also involves guiding junior surveyors,



maintaining documentation for compliance, and supporting quality, safety, and cost-effective project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong technical surveying skills, including land measurement, construction layout, and topographic surveying.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments and software (e.g., total station, GPS, auto level, laser level, CAD or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of construction methods, civil engineering drawings, and relevant codes or regulations.
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications and translate them into accurate site layouts and benchmarks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional project teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills for resolving site-related measurement issues.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior surveyors or site staff, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience as a surveyor in building or infrastructure projects; senior-level experience is highly preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and visit project locations as needed.
