Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide direct and quality nursing care to patients according to hospital protocols.

- Assess patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall health condition.

- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.

- Assist doctors during procedures, examinations, and emergency care.

- Handle emergency situations and provide appropriate immediate nursing care.

- Supervise and guide junior staff nurses and nursing assistants.

- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients between shifts.

- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, medication charts, and other documentation.

- Ensure proper implementation of infection control and biomedical waste management practices.

- Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and medication safety procedures.

- Monitor and maintain emergency equipment, crash cart, and essential nursing supplies.

- Ensure proper care of IV lines, urinary catheters, feeding tubes, wounds, drains, and other devices.

- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment, medication, diet, hygiene, and discharge instructions.





- Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for patient care.

- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the nursing unit.

- Identify and report any changes in the patient's condition immediately to the concerned doctor or Nursing Supervisor.

- Participate in patient safety activities, quality improvement programs, audits, and hospital training programs.

- Conduct and assist in clinical teaching and skill training for junior nurses and newly joined staff.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and nursing protocols.

- Prepare and verify nursing reports, shift reports, and other departmental records.

- Support the Nursing Supervisor in maintaining discipline, staffing, and smooth functioning of the department.

- Handle additional responsibilities assigned by the Nursing Supervisor or Hospital Management.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
