Job Summary

Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to manage kitchen operations, maintain food quality, lead kitchen staff and ensure effective food preparation across high-volume service periods.

Candidates with experience in restaurants, hotels, fine dining, premium casual dining, breweries, resorts or cloud kitchens are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef or Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation during high-volume service periods.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
- Manage Indian cuisine, including North Indian, South Indian and Tandoor preparations.
- Oversee Oriental and Continental food preparation as required.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, portion sizes and inventory consumption.
- Manage stock levels, food requisitions, storage and inventory rotation.
- Ensure compliance with kitchen SOPs, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.




- Train and guide kitchen team members to maintain productivity and service standards.
- Coordinate with service and restaurant teams to ensure timely food delivery.
- Monitor kitchen equipment usage and report maintenance requirements.
- Support menu execution, food costing and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of kitchen experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Sous Chef.
- Strong expertise in Indian cuisine, including North Indian, South Indian and Tandoor.
- Telugu communication skills are mandatory.
- Proven experience in team handling and high-volume kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, kitchen SOPs and hygiene compliance.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, fine dining, premium casual dining, breweries, resorts or cloud kitchens preferred.
