Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Siemens Opcenter MES developer with strong hands-on experience in MES development, configuration, customization, and system integration. The candidate should understand manufacturing processes and be able to convert business requirements into scalable MES solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and customize Siemens Opcenter MES solutions.
- Configure workflows, screens, business rules, reports, and production processes.
- Integrate Opcenter MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, WMS, LIMS, Quality, and other systems.
- Develop and support APIs, web services, database procedures, and system interfaces.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Work with business and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live, upgrades, and production support.
- Troubleshoot MES issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Prepare technical and functional documentation.
- Work with global and cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance when required.

Must-Have Skills

- Hands-on Siemens Opcenter MES experience.




- Strong understanding of MES and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with MES configuration, development, and customization.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of .NET, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Experience in testing, deployment, production support, and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Manufacturing / MES Knowledge

Candidates should have experience with some of the following:

- Production execution and work orders
- Material and lot traceability
- Dispatching and scheduling
- Equipment and labor tracking
- Electronic work instructions
- Quality and non-conformance
- Genealogy and production reporting
- Manufacturing master data

Valuable to Have

- Integration with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems
- Experience with SCADA, PLC, WMS, LIMS, or PLM
- Cloud / DevOps / CI-CD / Git
- Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory / Digital Manufacturing
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, or discrete manufacturing
- Siemens Opcenter certification
