Senior SAP Business Network Specialist

Role Summary

Lead the SAP Business Network workstream for the Advanced Shipment Tracking program, covering freight collaboration, global shipment visibility and supply-chain collaboration. The role will own functional design through go-live and hypercare, with close coordination across procurement, logistics, finance, warehouse and integration teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead blueprinting and requirement-gathering workshops and translate business rules into SAP Business Network solution designs.
- Own SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration for shipper/carrier portals, freight bookings, direct document exchange, carrier collaboration and shipment milestone visibility.
- Configure and support SAP Business Network Global Track & Trace for real-time in-transit tracking under DDP, CIF and EXW, including PO line-item visibility, ETD/ETA and milestone status.
- Lead Supply Chain PO Collaboration covering supplier notifications, order acknowledgments, change orders, ASNs/ship notices and predictive ETA follow-up.
- Support Track 2 collaboration scope covering Supply Chain Planning Collaboration, Inventory Collaboration and Quality Collaboration.
- Coordinate with SAP TM and source systems to enable freight orders/bookings, carrier tendering, scheduling, dock planning and live ETA-driven workflows.




- Work with integration teams on the Hyper Integration Layer and interfaces across SAP MM, Ariba, Finance/FICO, EWM, HCM and IFS using API Gateway, SFTP, WebMethods, RFC and CPI routing.
- Define functional mappings, integration scenarios and exception handling; troubleshoot Business Network and cross-system transaction failures.
- Drive Unit/SIT/UAT support, regression readiness, cutover, go-live, post-go-live validation and the hypercare/stabilization period.
- Prepare solution blueprints, configuration workbooks, process flows, functional specifications, test artifacts and operational handover documentation.

Preferred candidate profile Required Skills & Experience

- Solid hands-on expertise in SAP Business Network / SAP Ariba Network with 10+ years of SAP experience.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end implementations is mandatory involving Business Network collaboration and integration.
- Strong knowledge of freight, supplier collaboration, Procure-to-Pay and international shipment processes.
- Experience with GTT, Freight Collaboration, PO Collaboration and exposure to Planning/Inventory/Quality Collaboration.
- Strong integration understanding across SAP and non-SAP landscapes; excellent stakeholder and defect-management skills.
