Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated MS General Surgery pass-out with 03 years of experience to join our hospital's General Surgery department. The candidate will be responsible for providing surgical care, evaluating patients, assisting in and performing surgical procedures as per competency, and ensuring quality patient care under the guidance of senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine patients, assess medical conditions, and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations and provide follow-up care.

- Assist in and perform surgical procedures as per qualifications, competency, and hospital protocols.

- Manage surgical emergencies and provide timely clinical intervention.

- Monitor patients' recovery and identify post-operative complications.

- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and discharge summaries.

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, anaesthesia, and other clinical departments.

- Ensure adherence to infection control practices, patient safety standards,



and hospital protocols.

- Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and departmental meetings.

- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans, surgical procedures, and post-operative care.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: MS in General Surgery from a recognized medical institution.

- Experience: 0–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting.

- Fresh MS General Surgery pass-outs are welcome to apply.

- Valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council / National Medical Register, as applicable.

- Positive clinical knowledge, communication skills, and patient management abilities.
