Role & responsibilities

Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is looking for a Sr. Purchase Engineer to source raw materials, develop suppliers and run end-to-end procurement. The role involves regular travel to supplier facilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Travel to supplier facilities, within and across the country, to source and purchase raw materials as required.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply chain and reduce risk.
- Negotiate the best value price without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
- Run the end-to-end procurement process: raise Purchase Orders in coordination with Stores, and arrange and oversee transport of materials from supplier sites to our facilities.

Candidate Profile

- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 38 years in sourcing and procurement




- Ready to travel within and across the country
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Planning and prioritising skills
- Good reporting and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to work in a quick-paced environment
