Key Responsibilities

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers for roofing sheets, ceiling panels, grid systems, fasteners, insulation, and accessories.

- Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, RFQs, comparative statements, and purchase orders.

- Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules to get the best commercial terms.

- Coordinate with the projects, sales, and AutoCAD/estimation teams to understand material requirements and quantities.

- Track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure on-time delivery to sites and warehouse.

- Verify material quality, specifications, and quantities against POs, and resolve shortages or damages with vendors.

- Maintain vendor database, rate lists, and price history. Build new vendor relationships and develop alternate sources.

- Work with the accounts team on invoice verification, GRN, and vendor payment follow-ups.

- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.





- Track market price trends and update management on cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintain accurate purchase records and generate MIS reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (B.Com / BBA / B.E. / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical preferred); MBA in Materials or Supply Chain is a plus.

- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and costing skills.

- Good knowledge of roofing and ceiling materials (metal roofing, PUF panels, gypsum, grid ceilings, etc.) is an advantage.

- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP, MS Excel, and email.

- Ability to read BOQs and basic drawings.

- Knowledge of GST, freight, and logistics.

- Good communication in English, Hindi, and the local language.

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
