Essential Skills & Experience

- Substantial commercial experience as an Oracle DBA (typically 8+ years), operating as a senior technical authority or subject matter expert.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle 19c (21c desirable) administration, including RAC, Data Guard, ASM and RMAN.
- Proven performance tuning ability using AWR, ADDM, ASH and SQL execution plan analysis.
- Hands-on experience running Oracle databases on OCI, including OCI Performance Hub, database service management and OCI networking and IAM fundamentals.
- Strong automation skills: shell scripting and Python, plus Ansible and the OCI CLI, applied to real DBA operations.
- Working knowledge of Git and version-controlled automation practices.
- Experience with patching, upgrades and migrations, and with TDE, auditing and least-privilege security models.
- Experience leading technical response to major incidents.
- Robust written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt message and detail to technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
