Powerlaw is an Amazon D2C brand growth agency that doesn't charge retainers. We earn 3% of the incremental GMV we generate for our clients nothing more, nothing less. If a brand doesn't grow, we don't get paid. That single fact shapes how we hire, how we work, and who we trust with this role.

About the Role

Because our revenue is tied directly to client results, there's no room for anything to move slowly or quietly fail in this company and that's exactly what this role exists to prevent. You'll sit beside the Founder and hold visibility over every team: Sales, Post-Sales/Account Management and Category Management. In a performance-only business, a missed signal doesn't just cost a client it costs the company its fee. You are the person who makes sure that never happens.

This isn't a role in a large, layered organisation where issues get absorbed by process. Powerlaw is lean by design, so your decisions and your attention carry real, immediate weight.

Key Responsibilities

Own total visibility across the company Sales, Post-Sales/Account Management and Category Management so nothing moves without your knowledge.

Function as the Founder's second-in-command: anticipate priorities, drive them to closure, and run the business when the Founder cannot.

Track sales input and client GMV growth closely since our fee depends on it, these numbers are the heartbeat of the company.

Catch problems before they become fires missed targets, slipping accounts, underperforming hires and fix them fast, without being asked.

Build and enforce the SOPs and systems that let a performance-driven agency scale without losing the accountability that makes it work.

Take direct ownership of hiring, onboarding and performance decisions for the teams under you.

Step directly into any function sales, operations,



client servicing and run it hands-on whenever a client outcome is at stake.

Set the standard of ownership and urgency that a 3%-of-GMV business model demands from everyone in it.

Who We Need

6+ years of experience in operations, business leadership or a chief-of-staff style role, with real P&L; or multi-team accountability agency, D2C or high-growth startup backgrounds preferred.

A track record of running multiple functions at once without dropping the ball on any of them.

Comfortable in a business where compensation is earned through results, not guaranteed by contracts and able to instill that same urgency in others.

The judgment and presence to run the company in the Founder's absence and have that decision stand.

Sharp, fast communication you simplify chaos into transparent action, not more noise.

Must have your own laptop and a reliable internet connection this is a fully remote, 6-day-a-week role.
