Technical) Required Skills Bachelors / Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Postgraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science / Data Science is an added advantage. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks certifications are a plus.

Robust foundation in BI, data analytics and reporting, with a minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience in requirement gathering, dashboard design, development, deployment, and support of BI projects. Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and Tableau (calculated fields, LOD expressions). Advanced SQL skills, with hands-on experience on Databricks (Databricks SQL, Delta tables).

Proficient in semantic modeling and dimensional design (star schemas, fact/dimension tables, RLS). Good understanding of data visualization and storytelling, including KPI design and executive reporting. Familiarity with DevOps practices (GIT, CI/CD) and Power BI Service / Tableau Server administration.

Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer for data blending, preparation, and workflow automation, including scheduling and publishing workflows via Alteryx Server.

Experience configuring on-premises data gateways (gateway clusters, data source connections, credentials) and Tableau Bridge for scheduled refreshes. Working knowledge of Python for data preparation and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities Designs and develops interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards and reports, translating complex business requirements into intuitive, actionable insights.



Builds and optimizes semantic models with well-structured DAX measures, calculation groups, and fiscal calendar / time-intelligence logic; mentors others in data modeling and DAX best practices. Writes and tunes complex SQL (window functions, CTEs, views) on Databricks, partnering with data engineering on curated gold-layer datasets for reporting.

Builds and maintains Alteryx workflows to blend, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources, automating data preparation and recurring reporting processes.

Leverages

Databricks for BI delivery, connecting Power BI and Tableau to Databricks SQL Warehouses and building reporting views on gold-layer Delta tables governed through Unity Catalog. Optimizes report performance using DAX Studio, aggregations, and incremental refresh. Manages deployment and governance of BI assets, including workspaces, GIT-based deployment pipelines, refresh schedules, and row-level security.

Configures and manages data gateways, including installation, clustering for high availability, data source and credential setup, user access, and troubleshooting refresh failures. Defines KPIs and metrics with business stakeholders, ensuring consistent definitions and data accuracy through validation and reconciliation. Innovates BI methodologies with reusable templates and design standards; mentors others in best practices.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving and project ownership, driving projects end to end. Effectively communicates insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership, and actively contributes to Agile ceremonies and requirements gathering.
