Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate power procurement through open access, bilateral arrangements, power exchanges and captive/group captive projects.
- Coordinate power scheduling, generation forecasting and schedule revisions with generators, consumers and the operations team.
- Coordinate power adjustments after scheduling, based on actual generation, consumer requirements and applicable procedures.
- Manage power allocation among consumers based on scheduled availability, consumption requirements and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate with the team for the preparation, verification and submission of various open access related applications and documents
- Coordinate generator billing, verify invoices and follow up on payments from consumers.
- Reconcile scheduled, allocated, adjusted and actual energy against generator invoices, consumer bills and payment records, and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyse consumer load profiles, consumption patterns and contracted demand to optimise power supply and offtake.




- Monitor power exchange prices and market trends to support procurement decisions and transaction execution.
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, transmission utilities and load dispatch centres for open access approvals and operational requirements.
- Review and coordinate PPAs and related commercial agreements, including tariffs, supply commitments, payment terms and contractual obligations.
- Monitor regulatory developments, open access charges and compliance requirements affecting power transactions.
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems, track requirements and follow-ups, and monitor pending actions.
- Manage coordination with consumers, generators, developers and internal teams to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.
- Prepare operational reports, commercial assessments and management updates, and guide the team in day-to-day activities.
