Role Description The Senior Manager Logistics and Supply Chain Management oversees end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of logistics and supply chain operations for ReBAT’s battery recycling facility. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bhopal and is responsible for managing inbound and outbound battery flows, warehousing, inventory control, transportation, and vendor coordination.

The role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, negotiating contracts with logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

The Senior

Manager will analyze demand and capacity, monitor performance metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.



The position includes cross-functional collaboration with operations, procurement, quality, and compliance teams, as well as mentoring and guiding logistics and supply chain staff.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong logistics and supply chain management skills, including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation coordination.
- Candidates should possess expertise in process optimization, data analysis, and performance management, including use of KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance related to industrial operations, hazardous materials, and recycling.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, including team development, coaching, and cross-functional communication.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, recycling, energy, or industrial operations, especially in high-compliance environments, is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain planning tools, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) is an advantage.
