Senior Lead Engineer – AWS Agent Core

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer – AWS AgentCore to design and build enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions on AWS. The role will be hands-on, combining strong software engineering with Agentic AI architecture, and will be responsible for taking solutions from PoC to production .

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Agentic AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore .
- Build single-agent and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as AWS Strands, LangGraph or equivalent .
- Implement AgentCore capabilities including Runtime, Gateway, Memory, Identity and Observability .
- Develop and integrate agent tools using MCP, APIs, Lambda and enterprise applications .
- Design RAG, memory, tool-calling and human-in-the-loop patterns for enterprise use cases.
- Build secure, scalable and observable agent solutions with appropriate IAM, guardrails and audit controls.
- Establish reusable engineering patterns, accelerators and coding standards for Agentic AI development.
- Provide technical leadership,



code reviews and mentoring to AI and full-stack engineers.

Desired Experience

- 10+ years of software/cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on development skills.
- Strong experience with AWS, Python and Amazon Bedrock .
- Hands-on exposure to Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or similar Agentic AI platforms.
- Experience with Strands, LangGraph, LangChain or equivalent agent frameworks .
- Good understanding of MCP, tool calling, RAG, vector databases and multi-agent architectures .
- Experience building APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of AWS security, IAM and production observability.

Ideal Profile A strong hands-on engineer who can architect, code and productionize Agentic AI solutions , while also guiding engineering teams. The candidate should be comfortable working across AI models, agent frameworks and AWS services, and should have a strong focus on reusability, security, scalability and production engineering .
